Remembering Nick

They that love beyond this world cannot be seperated by it.

For death cannot kill that which never dies.

Nick was born on May 26th, 1970. He was a brilliant soccer player and a helpful, patient, kind person. He was a wonderful son. He was a good student, a hard worker and a loyal friend. He had a great big smile and the most beautiful blue eyes. He had an awesome sense of humor and an incredible ability to make people laugh. He loved animals and babies. He would have been a wonderful dad. His favorite color was dark green. His favorite movie was Reservoir Dogs. He loved BBQ pizza and fireworks, powdered sugar donuts and sterling silver jewelry, practical jokes and working on cars. He loved ghost stories and having his back scratched, VW's and Chevelles. He liked his hair long. He wished his hair were straight. He loved The Cure. He was a vegetarian. He loved hugs. He gave great hugs. He was a natural artist. He made an impression on everyone who ever met him. He liked jeans and t-shirts and playing pool. He loved claymation and Gumby, playing dice and scary movies. He loved VANS and Adidas and going for coffee. He was sensitive, smart and caring. He had a gentle, beautiful soul. He was patient and non-judgemental. Humble and polite, selfless and forgiving. He was generous and protective. He loved his siblings immensely. He was a brother.
He was my brother.

We can love completely without complete understanding...

I thought of you today Nick, but that is nothing new.

I thought about you yesterday and the days before that too.

I think of you in silence, I often speak your name.

All I have are memories & pictures in a frame.

Your memory is my keepsake with which I will never part.

I can no longer hold you in my arms

so I hold you in my heart.
